Location very close to magnificent Matera, conveniently located, and excellent dining options. For shots visit Vicolo Cieco Salsamenteria, nestled within 5 minutes' walk of the hotel.

My stay at Pietragialla was absolutely wonderful! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The room I stayed in had a breathtaking view from the huge patio where I enjoyed my breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, although it wasn't included, they provided a thoughtful tray with toast, Nutella, honey, and jams. The location was perfect, allowing me to easily explore the town on foot. The best part was the exceptional service I received from the staff. They picked me up from the parking garage and dropped me off, and even made dinner reservations for me. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area!

The breakfast items in the room were nice. the room was tucked away in a quiet alley, which made it easy to get some shut-eye. the location of the hotel was convenient for walking to nearby shops and attractions.

The room was quite small and did not have much natural light. the bathroom was cramped and the shower was difficult to use.

This hotel in the heart of the old town is a real gem. The rooms are beautifully restored, clean, and comfortable, with all the comforts needed for a pleasant stay. The highlight is definitely the big terrace with its panoramic views of the stunning Sassi. The location is perfect, surrounded by lovely restaurants and just steps away from all the attractions.

The breakfast could be improved with a better selection of fresh pastries and coffee options.

It was great to stay right in the heart of the charming old town, surrounded by lovely restaurants and cafes just a few steps away. The room was spacious and bathroom was in good condition. The manager offered helpful advice on the area. The fridge was stocked with refreshing drinks, which was a nice touch.

The breakfast items were quite basic and limited.

We spent our New Year's Eve in an extraordinary accommodation situated in a quiet cave in the ancient city center. Leaving the car in the nearby garage, we were immediately captivated by the location's charm and beauty. The hotel's tasteful decoration and modern amenities, including an incredible shower, made for a comfortable stay. Breakfast items provided in the room allowed us to enjoy the charming atmosphere and begin our day at our own pace. the host's kindness and helpfulness in guiding us through the area were very appreciated.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at a wonderful hotel in the heart of the historic district. The location was perfect, with charming restaurants just steps away. The attentive staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, providing all the necessary amenities and even a spacious terrace to enjoy the breathtaking views. Additionally, the breakfast served each morning was a delight, offering not only delicious food but also stunning vistas of the surrounding Sassi.
